Features of webex include:
- Text chat - This is when chat messages can be sent to individuals or all participants. This is a quick and easy way of speaking to the other participants.
- Browser sharing - Allows easy sharing of Internet-based information. Control can be passed to any participant, allowing the presenter to guide the navigation and synchronize the browsers of other participants.
- Easy to view what meeting you are attending on the day and any upcoming in the next few weeks or months.
- High Quality Video- See colleagues more clearly using improved video resolution and quality. Switch between standard or full-screen video using a standard USB camera at up to 30 frames per second.
- Help and assistance can easily be used at any time whilst on Webex incase you need any help r if you have any difficulties performing something on the site.
- Users can now manage their groups in their contact list more easily by dragging and droping them into any order you choose. Change your presence status quickly and easily using keyboard shortcuts. By doing this makes it easier to find your most popular contacts easily then scrolling through your contact list with maybe hundreds of contacts, for a specific person.
- You may have up to 25 participants in a meeting.
- Webex can even be used on many smart phones now. The display that all participants see is displayed just the same but on a smaller scale screen. Below is a photo of how the display will look on a BlackBerryPhone and how it looks on a computer monitor, as you can see- theyre the same.

| The cirled green area is showing how you can easily view your upcoming meetings by clickingon the tab, they read "all sessions" "day" "weekly" and "monthly". The red circled area shows the meetings you have today including the times of the meeting, topic being discussed, the presnter and the duration of the meeting. The purple circled area shows upcoming sessions along with the same details date, time, duration etc. The pink circled area shows the help or 'assistance' area. |
